Settlement and Placement Services

GSBC and its associated company Global Placement Services take care of the Settlement aspect when the clients land in their desired destination. Staff which includes Placement Counselors, Job Developers, Resume Writers, Settlement Coordinators, Business Consultants, etc. provide complete assistance to the clients from the time they land in their dream country starting from Airport Pick-up till they completely get settle down.

A.   Pre-Landing Services in Native Country:

  • Provide all necessary information, knowledge and tools for assessment of education gained by the client in his/her native country from requisite academic and/or professional assessment bodies in the respective country and/or Province/State.
  • Provide Professional Guidance to be imparted to the client on his / her intended occupation in respective country and/or Province/State.
  • Provide basic information about respective country and/or Province/State to be imparted to the client.
  • Provide all necessary information, knowledge and tools to prepare, orient and condition Clients through Employment Readiness Course for their early settlement in respective country and/or Province/State.
  • Provide all necessary information, knowledge and tools to assist the client in preparing resume in standard format as required by employers in respective country and/or Province/State.

B.   Post-Landing Services:

  • Arrangement of guest house if opted and Reception at airport in the respective country and/or Province/State as applicable.
  • Assistance in applying for SIN card/ Driving License/ Health Insurance Plan Card/ opening of bank account/ bank debit and credit cards in the respective country and/or Province/State, as applicable.
  • Information on private health insurance companies in the respective country and/or Province/State to purchase temporary health insurance as applicable.
  • Guidance for hiring own accommodation and information on rentals and prices in the respective country and/or Province/State.
  • Guidance for admission of children of clients in school /college/university.
  • Information on public transportation/ Income Tax structure etc in the respective country and/or Province/State.
  • Personalized sessions by the Senior Employment Counselor to cover Professional Guidance for the intended occupation, information on relevant education and professional bridging courses to be taken.
  • Reviewing of individual action plan and fine tuning the same as per the available placement prospects in the respective country and/or Province/State, as applicable.
  • Provisioning of Welcome Kit with Job Dossier containing job leads and employment guidance for initiating job search efforts for the initially available temporary or transitional jobs as per professional skills, aptitude, computer knowledge, and communication skills possessed by the client.
  • Guidance for enhancing skill level by joining requisite courses important to search a job in own profession.
  • Guidance on free access to various job banks through government and other private placement agencies.
  • Guidance on free job search information and workshops available through government libraries and employment resource centers.
